The Society of Biology is looking to recruit Members and Chairs from both industry and academia for their Degree Accreditation Assessment Panel. Following a pilot which concluded in March 2012, involving the successful accreditation of four degree programmes, the Society of Biology is now looking to expand accreditation into the three main areas of the biosciences. Programmes submitting themselves for consideration will be asked to apply under one of three streams:

  • Molecular Aspects of the Biosciences
  • Ecological and Environmental Sciences
  • Whole Organism Biology

With the expansion into three streams, it is crucial that the Society have the assessors needed and is now accepting applications.
