NCI workshops in April 2020
In April 2020 we organised two online meetings to discuss the Dasgupta Review on the Economics of Biodiversity with the HM Treasury’s review team.
The meetings brought together over 20 leading experts from natural, social and economic sciences to discuss conservation and restoration, consumption and efficient use of natural resources with the HM Treasury’s Review team. The participants were invited to feed into the key messages of the Review chapters, following a discussion on the general framework published in the interim report.
The discussions were summarised for the authors, and the participants were invited to share further ideas and examples of science and solutions with the Review team for options for change.
The final review will be published on 2 February 2020.
