The Ecosystems Knowledge Network is a UK-wide resource to help people connect the environment with big issues in society such as health and flooding. It facilitates shared learning between local environmental projects and helps them access tools, guidance and case studies. The Network also engages professions that are not yet involved in the work of local environmental projects. The Network is driven by a desire to see the ecosystem approach applied in the UK.

The Network was developed by a partnership involving the Natural Capital Initiative, NERC Centre for Ecology and Hydrology, the University of Exeter (Centre for Rural Policy and Research) and Countryscape. It gained registration as an independent charity in 2015.

The Network is free to join and open to anyone with an interest in an ecosystems approach. Please visit the Ecosystems Knowledge Network website to learn more.
